The UMW Geography Club hiked on the trail of White Oak Canyon in Shenandoah National Park. The group got together very early on a Saturday morning and carpooled to the location. The hike was absolutely beautiful and not crowded because of our early hiking time.… Read the rest

The Geography Club went Geocaching to find hidden caches around the UMW campus and sports complex using mobile GPS devices. We printed out the coordinates and went to search for each item using the coded messages given by the creators of the hidden cache.
